AI Innovations for Inclusive and Sustainable Societies: Cross-Domain Applications
Workshop: AI Innovations for Inclusive and Sustainable Societies: Cross-Domain Applications
Integrating smart and ethical AI solutions into engineering, industry, education, healthcare, and environmental management has become an inevitable trend in building inclusive and sustainable societies. The theoretical foundations of algorithms, intelligent data collection, and optimization techniques play a key role in developing advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) models. Modern AI Solutions (MAIS) are now widely applied across diverse domains, delivering significant progress not only in efficiency and automation but also in accessibility, inclusiveness, and environmental responsibility. This Special Session aims to gather cutting-edge research, novel methodologies, and impactful real-world applications that demonstrate how AI—integrated with emerging technologies such as IoT, Blockchain, Cloud Computing, and Virtual Reality—can address complex societal challenges. We particularly welcome contributions that focus on sustainable innovation, ethical AI, privacy, security, and interoperability, fostering smart and resilient systems for the benefit of all communities, especially underserved populations and individuals with disabilities.
We invite researchers, practitioners, and industry experts to contribute to the Special Session on “AI Innovations for Inclusive and Sustainable Societies: Cross-Domain Applications”, part of the 11th EAI International Conference on Smart Objects and Technologies for Social Good (GOODTECHS 2025), to be held on 18–20 December 2025 at Kien Giang University, Vietnam.
This Special Session aims to explore how Artificial Intelligence (AI), when integrated with emerging technologies such as IoT, Blockchain, Cloud Computing, Virtual Reality, and Big Data, can be leveraged to address pressing societal and environmental challenges. We particularly encourage submissions that emphasize:
- Inclusivity – Ensuring AI solutions are accessible and beneficial to all, especially
underserved communities and individuals with disabilities. - Sustainability – Designing AI systems that promote environmental responsibility and
long-term societal well-being. - Ethics and Trust – Addressing
